What you'll achieve

As a Marketing Data Engineering Intern, you'll work within a global team with Marketing Product Owners and Product Specialists with focus on support and development of Customer Data Engagement platform. During your internship, you will work in collaboration with data engineers, data scientists, architects, and business teams to design strategics projects and break complex problems into actionable tasks.

• Validate data from various sources, ensure data quality, investigate issues with data
• Participate in communication with end users and business teams to define data requirements and specifications and identify user issues.
• Partner with both internal & external sources to design, build and oversee the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions, and software. Develop software to transform and use data, automate processes, provide user interfaces for end users, improve the efficiency of our codebase, and maintain and debug infrastructure systems
• Review and implement test strategies for software products
• Support existing campaign systems (e.g. SAS Marketing Automation) and participate on the development of the new platforms and processes, leveraging the newest technologies

• Daily student at Slovak university focused on Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
• Fluent communication in English, Critical Thinking, Learning Capacity
• Good practical knowledge of Relational databases and SQL
• Experience working with Python in the context of Automation, Data Analysis, Data Exploration Web Scraping and/or Machine Learning
• Knowledge of scheduling systems (e.g. Airflow, Control-M) and Git, or other version control systems, is a plus

• Team player dedicated to her/his job and self-starter able to work independently, in a cross-functional team environment within an Agile framework
• Experience with dashboards creations PowerBI / Tableau reporting, Experience with C# or Java, Gen AI and LLM, Kubernetes, Docker, Functions, elastic compute, enterprise-scale platforms, parallelized workloads, real-time data streams, open source frameworks
