Job Summary

The Sr. ServiceNow Developer will provide technical leadership and contribute to a team of specialists providing development, support, implementations, and configuration of the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module. The role will also be responsible for enabling new modules and supporting enhancements. The employee will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow SPM, architecture, and the ability to translate business outcomes and requirements to technical teams. The ideal candidate will have high emotional intelligence, be able to work independently and as part of a team, build cross-functional relationships, have a passion for continuous learning and improvement, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.

Essential Functions

  • Promote WWT Core Values and best practices.
  • Partner with external vendors, and internal teams to manage implementations and ongoing support.
  • Support the development of technical solutions and provide ongoing assistance and consultation to resolve problems to ensure the solutions meet the end users' requirements.
  • Research technical specifications, articulates technical messages, and display deep technical expertise through well-written, well-organized, and professional documents for technical use and according to technical standards.
  • Lead discussions with peers and business stakeholders, actively listening and questioning/clarifying information to ensure understanding of customer technology needs and solutions.
  • Translate problem scope and suggested solution to both product owner and stakeholders.
  • Work in a Scaled Agile environment to deliver solutions.
  • Understand and promote the bigger picture of ServiceNow platform usage within WWT by using large-scale thinking when working on projects.
  • Act as an advisor and peer to ServiceNow Analyst in managing configurations and customizations.
  • Develop ServiceNow solutions focusing on ServiceNow SPM

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Licenses/Certifications - SPM Implementation (preferred)
  • Exposure to the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module is a bonus.
  • No travel requirements
  • Individual contributor - no direct reports

Level of Autonomy

Work is accomplished without considerable direction. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria in obtaining results. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment. Takes calculated risks with consultation from the expert.
